MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Candidates shall have to produce the following original certificates/documents at the time of interview:
1. CNIC issued by NADRA
2. Academic certificates
3. Domicile certificate
4. 02 passport size photographs with blue background.
5. Affidavit duly countersigned by respective Deputy Commissioner in case of applying against minorities
(non-Muslims) quota.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

1. Applicants should apply only online through websites www.npftas.pk / www.islamabadpolice.gov.pk
within 15 days of publication of this advertisement.
2. Cut-off date for age calculation is the closing date i.e., 08.07.2026.
3. In light of the Islamabad High Court, Islamabad order dated 16.03.2026 (W.P. No.2242/2024), the
prescribed age limits shall be relaxed as mentioned above only for those candidates who qualified for the
interview stage in the ICT Police Recruitment Process – 2024. However, they shall have to undergo all
the recruitment tests/stages.
4. Each applicant will be required to pay a fee of Rs.2000/- per application/per post applied, for processing
of their application and conduct of the requisite tests.
5. Fee can be paid through 1Link-1Bill Service via any Bank/ATM/Internet Banking/Easypaisa/Jazz
Cash/U Paisa/TimePay by using 24 digits PSID generated on fee challan issued from the online
application portal. Fee shall be non-refundable.
6. In case of applying for more than one post, the candidates will have to pay fee for each post separately.
7. The candidates applying for multiple posts will have to pass the physical test only once.
8. Applications submitted by hand, through courier or any channel other than the above-mentioned online
portal shall not be entertained. Moreover, no documents/photos/forms are required to be submitted in the
hard form until the interview stage.
9. No relaxation in height and chest shall be granted to any candidate.
10. Applicants are bound to provide correct information. Provision of false information shall liable to be
proceeded against under Section 420/468/471 PPC (forgery/fraud/cheating) punishable with
imprisonment up to seven years.
11. The candidate shall disclose information about his/her involvement in any criminal case(s) as an
undertaking on the online Application Portal at the time of submission of the application for recruitment,
whether he has been discharged,challaned, acquitted, convicted or cancellation of FIR(s). The candidate
shall also submit an affidavit in this regard at the time of interview. In case of false undertaking/affidavit
regarding non-involvement in the criminal case(s), application of the candidate will be cancelled on the
basis of provision of false information and the applicant shall be debarred to apply for police posts in
future and legal action shall be taken as well. The prescribed format of the affidavit can be downloaded
from the websites www.npftas.pk / www.islamabadpolice.gov.pk.
12. Transgender person can apply as per his or her self-perceived gender identity in accordance with the
provisions of Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2018 and as gender mentioned in CNIC.
13. Government employees who meet the eligibility criteria will apply through proper channel.

14. Candidates applying for family claim being real son/grand-son, real daughter/grand-daughter of a
serving/retired/deceased police employees shall have to provide complete documentation of their claim
such as FRC, pension book, retirement order etc. at the time of interview.
15. Verification of character and academic antecedents of selected candidates will be conducted. In case of
any bogus / false information or criminal record, false affidavit or false undertaking, selection shall stand
withdrawn / cancelled immediately and the candidate shall be discharged from service (if so found after
employment) and legal proceedings shall also be initiated against him/her.
16. Details of examination centers is available at the application portal, where candidates can select two test
centers priority-wise. However, designation of center for applicant is exclusive domain of ICT Police.
17. Candidates are advised to wear joggers or suitable shoes and bring their own bottle of drinking water
during the endurance test. Candidates are personally responsible for getting themselves medically
checked for the endurance tests. They may get themselves medically examined from Government or
District Hospitals to ensure complete fitness.
18. Only those candidates, who qualify the physical/endurance and computer-based tests or written tests, will
be called for interview. Passing a test / stage will qualify the candidates for the next stage / test. A
candidate failing in any stage/test will be disqualified for the next step/stage.
19. Departmental Recruitment Board (DRB) and their staff shall verify the physical standards of candidates
at the time of interview again, if needed, and if any deficiency is found, the candidates shall stand
disqualified for recruitment in ICT Police. The decision of the DRB shall be final.
20. Candidates having higher qualifications will be given preference at the interview stage only.
21. At the time of final selection, candidates will have to go through complete medical examination by the
medical board/Civil Surgeon of the Federal Government. During medical examination, the candidates
having Hepatitis B & C and any other perpetual ailments shall also stand disqualified.
22. Selected candidates shall accept Rules/Regulations governing the conduct, discipline, promotion,
retirement and other ancillary matters framed by the Government from time to time.
23. No TA/DA shall be admissible for written or computer based tests /physical/endurance, skill test &
interview etc.
24. Candidates shall be informed about updates through application portal/SMS/email. Candidates shall
visit/check the portal frequently for the updates.
25. The applicant must provide a mobile number which is active and not converted to other network.
26. ICT Police reserves the right to modify/cancel the number of posts and advertisement/recruitment/
instructions, at any stage.
