AGE LIMIT
1) 18–25 years + 05 years general relaxation.
2) (a) In case of Ex-Service Man, the upper age limit relaxed to the extent of service
rendered by him in the Armed Forces or 15 years whichever is less.
3) The age of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Casts / Buddhist Community is relaxed
by 03 years in addition to item No. 1 above.
4) The age of Government Servants and contract employees who have completed 02 Years
of continuous government service on the closing date for receipt of applications is
relaxed for 10 years in addition to item No. 1 above.
5) The age of son of deceased civil servant who died during service is relaxed for 05 Years
in addition to item No. 1 above.
6) Where a candidate is entitled to age relaxation under more than one category specified
above, he shall be allowed relaxation in age only in one category.

Candidates belonging to the following districts can apply:
Lahore, Okara, Sahiwal (Chak 52/5L, Tehsil & District Sahiwal), Kasur, Pak Pattan (Village
Chak 40SP, 14SP & 15SP Tehsil & District Pak Pattan), Gujranwala, Gujrat (Deonia Mandial,
Jalalpur Jattan & Tanda Pind Tehsil & District Gujrat), Qila Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib,
Hafizabad, Chiniot (Lalian, Chenab Nagar) Jhang, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Sialkot &
Narowal.



RECRUITMENT QUOTA:
The recruitment will be subjected to the following quota without any relaxation in
minimum academic qualification as well as age:
1. Open Merit (Disable quota will be applicable on selected categories) 60%
2. Son of Railway employee either in service/retired or deceased (18+02) 20%
3. Ex-Service Man 10%
4. Orphans (other than Railways) 05%
5. Minority 05%


SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION & DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
1) The following documents must be attached with the application form, verified photo
copies of Educational Qualification certificates/diplomas:
a) In case of Middle. Head of Institute/School must verify it and in case of Matric/FA
attested Degree will be required.
b) National Identity Card.
c) Domicile.
d) Character Certificate
e) Three passport size photographs.
f) Relationship certificate (in case of Son of Railway Employee).
g) Four (04) postal envelopes with complete address and mobile number must be
attached with application.
1. Category S. No. 1 to 5 mentioned above must be attached postal order worth Rs. 550/
as processing fee by name of Divisional Personnel Officer, P.R., Lahore.
2. No application will be accepted without postal orders.
3. Each envelope must contain only one (01) application./ Two (02) applications cannot
be entertained in one envelope. Phone number, complete home address, category &
quota to be applied must be mentioned on the envelope.
4. The above mentioned documents should be directly sent through “REGISTERED
DAK or COURIER” addressed to the “DIVISIONAL SUPERINTENDENT
OFFICE, PAKISTAN RAILWAYS, LAHORE, DIVISION BOGY ROAD,
LAHORE”.
5. Any application addressed to other than i.e Divisional Superintendent Office Lahore
or HQ Office, LHR will not be entertained.
6. The last date of application submission is 20 days with effect from publication of this
advertisement.

TERMS & CONDITIONS.
1. A candidate may apply for more than one post separately. Each envelope must contain
only one (01) application. Two (02) applications cannot be entertained in one envelope.
Phone number complete home address, category & quota to be applied must be
mentioned on the envelope.
2. Incomplete applications will not be entertained. Government Servant including Railway
Servants should submit their applications through proper channel (NOC).
3. No application will be received by hand. The envelopes must have the stamp of Post
office or any other Courier Company. The applications not bearing the stamp of post
office or envelope of Courier Company will be rejected.
4. For claiming Son of Railway Employee Quota, Relationship Certificate, Pension Papers
or Service Certificates of father duly verified by an officer of BS-16 & above must be
attached.
5. No travelling allowance or other expenses will be paid to the candidates called for
Interview. The successful candidates are required to pass the prescribed Medical test by
the Railway Doctor i.e. Divisional Medical Officer, Lahore and prescribed training if any.
6. Eligibility of candidates shall be determined on the basis of the applicant qualification,
performance in running/ skill test & interview.
7. Only short-listed candidates will be called for Written Test/ Skill Test (Running) and
Interview after the scrutiny of educational certificate.
8. Lawful proceedings will be initiated against those who will submit fake certificates and
those who will verify them.
9. Call letters will be issued to only eligible candidates bearing date, time and place for
Running/ Skill Test & Interview.
10. The candidates selected will be required to:-
a) To pass the medical examination and must be cleared by Security Agencies.
b) To undergo specified training.
11. The competent authority has the right to reject any application without assigning any
reason under the rules. The competent authority may increase/decrease the vacancies
according to requirement.
