Bureau of Statistics (BoS), Punjab is the provincial statistical organization mandated to collect, compile, analyze, and disseminate socio-economic data in support of evidence-based planning, policymaking, and development monitoring. It functions as an attached department of the Planning & Development Board, Government of the Punjab. The BoS Punjab frequently receives requests from government departments and international development partners to undertake specialized data collection activities and surveys. To efficiently meet these requirements, BoS Punjab intends to establish a data bank/pool of qualified candidates for the positions of "Enumerator". This pool will be updated on yearly basis or as and when required.
Key Details:
Nature of Engagement: Daily wage basis (initially for up to 89 days, extendable on satisfactory performance).
Mode of Selection: Shortlisted candidates from the pool will be contacted for interview as and when required for field data collection assignments under various projects during the Financial Year 2025-26.
Domicile Requirement: Punjab Province.
Remuneration: As per approved daily wage rates in the PC-I/ PC-II / Project document.
Work Location: Anywhere in Punjab.
Required Qualification & Experience:
At least 2nd class BA/BSc Degree or equivalent (14 years of education) in any subject, preferably in Statistics /Economics /Sociology/ Social Work /Gender Studies.
ii. Proficiency in the use of IT equipment (Computer I Tablets).
iii. Candidates with prior experience in conducting tablet-based surveys shall be given preference.
