The Punjab government proposed a total budget outlay of PKR 5.335 trillion (Rs 5,335 billion) for the fiscal year 2025-2026. This significant budget includes PKR 2.706 trillion for non-development expenditure and a record-breaking PKR 1.24 trillion for development projects, marking a 47% increase from the previous year.
